Apostle Grace Lubega
Ecclesiastes 5:1-2 (MSG); Watch your step when you enter God’s house. Enter to learn. That’s far better than mindlessly offering a sacrifice, Doing more harm than good. Don’t shoot off your mouth, or speak before you think. Don’t be too quick to tell God what you think he wants to hear. God’s in charge, not you—the less you speak, the better.
ENTER TO LEARN
To many people, the presence of God is an opportunity to educate the Lord about all their problems as if He is not intimately acquainted with the details of their lives.
But the Bible in our theme scripture is very instructive on how we ought to conduct ourselves in the presence of God.
The scripture says, enter to learn.
This means that every time you go to pray, your spirit must be alert to hear or see whatever it is that God wants you to see or hear.
Understand that the primary responsibility of the Holy Spirit is to teach us. The Bible says in John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
There is no use in praying the whole night when you do not come out of it with an instruction.
If there is anything you must remember, it is this; when in the presence of God, our silence gives the Holy Spirit the opportunity to teach us.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: When in the presence of God, our silence gives the Holy Spirit the opportunity to teach us.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the privilege of access to Your presence. David said that He desired to inquire in Your temple. This too is the desire of my heart. In Your presence I see, hear and learn, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
