WHAT MUST LIVE FOREVER
When we think of the great men in Church history, men like William Seymour and the Asuza Street Revival, Alexander Dowie and his work in Zion Illinois, what is remembered most is not how big their church buildings were or how many material possessions they had.
Instead, what we remember are the great things they did in the kingdom: the strength of their faith, the depth of their endurance and the power of their message.
It is tempting to get swept away by the things that follow believers but can these things really stand the test of time?
Do you imagine that you will be remembered for the car that you drove, the size of your house or the price of your shoe?
Our theme scripture reveals that all things in heaven and earth will pass away but the words of the Christ will never pass away.
It is your message that has the capacity to transcend generations.
Legacies are not built by the things we acquire as possessions but by the marks we leave in the lives of men by virtue of what we behold in God.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Legacies are not built by the things we acquire as possessions but by the marks we leave in the lives of men by virtue of what we behold in God.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for Your great work in my life. I know that my ministry and the things You do through me are everlasting and shall remain. They shall not fall on the sidelines of history because what comes out of me is eternal, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
