Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV);Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

ETERNAL SPIRITS

Our spirits are eternal. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, the Lord says that He has placed eternity in your heart. Your existence spans beyond the veils of time.

What does such a deep truth mean to us as new creatures in Christ?

Because we are eternal, God has given us the liberty to walk in different times by the Spirit. By this, we travel the future and the past as the liberties of the Spirit allow.

Do you think this is strange? How else did Jude see the devil and Angel Gabriel contend over Moses’ body long after Moses’ death? (Jude 1:9); How did our Father Abraham rejoice when he saw the day of Christ yet he existed before Christ’s birth? (John 8:56); How did Peter travel back to Noah’s time and behold the souls that perished in the flood trapped in prison? (1 Peter 3:19-20); How did Isaiah behold Christ and His suffering when he existed before Christ came in the flesh? (Isaiah 53).

In Romans 15:4, the Bible speaks of things that were written aforetime for our learning. The error of many Christians is to assume that the written is limited to that which is in ink. No, there are lessons written in the spirit across the vast expanse of time, ready and available for any man who knows how to explore in that realm.

The canopy of the spirit is open to you, child of God. Walking in the Spirit also includes exploiting the liberties of men who learn from different eons too.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Because we are eternal, God has given us the liberty to walk in different times by the Spirit. By this, we travel the future and the past as the liberties of the Spirit allow.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the great and immense liberties that You have granted to me as a new creature in Christ. I understand the latent power that comes with the new birth and live in its reality, every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
