Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 10:39 (KJV); But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
NEVER DRAW BACK I
The Bible says that we are not of them that draw back. It is not in the nature of a child of God to give up when things get tough.
Every time you find yourself at the verge of giving up, of doubting God because you feel like your circumstances are not changing, of depending on men because it is the path of least resistance, you must remind yourself that it is not your nature.
God Himself tells us in Hebrews 10:38, “if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Drawing back displeases God because it is contrary to who we are in Him.
Drawing back is a statement in the realm of the Spirit that you do not understand who is in you.
If we are not of them that draw back, then of what nature are we? To answer this, you only need to look at the genealogy that you inherited through Christ.
We are of Abraham’s breed of whom the Bible says that he in hope believed against hope (Romans 4:18). We are the stock of Jacob, of whom the Bible says that regardless of how badly he was treated by Laban, his uncle, he kept the course, working hard with diligence and faithfulness(Genesis 31:41). Our line is of great men like the apostle Paul who never gave up in the face of countless dangers. In 2 Corinthians 11:26, he speaks of being , “in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren.”
No circumstance should lead you into contradicting who you are, whether by thought, word or deed. Your nature is not of the kind that draws back.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: Every time you find yourself at the verge of giving up, of doubting God because you feel like your circumstances are not changing, of depending on men because it is the path of least resistance, you must remind yourself that it is not your nature.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for who I am in Christ. It doesn’t matter what circumstances come my way. I know who is in me. I stand in faith and in the boldness of the Spirit to prevail through fires and storms because You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
