Ephesians 5:26-27 (KJV); That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
THE CLEANSER
The Word of God is a cleanser.
There are people in this world who feel sullied by their past. They are covered in the dirt of their past mistakes and are constantly smeared by the mud of their guilt.
Some are living under the dark shadow of the wrong choices that their parents or spouses made. The world has not forgiven them and neither can they forgive themselves.
Is there hope for such men and women? Of course, there is and it is in the Word of God.
If you feel incapable of forgiving yourself, simply give yourself to the Word of God. As you study and listen to it, its cleansing power will wash you clean and render you guilt-free.
This is the very reason why some people walk out of bad habits that they struggled with for long. When they sat under the cleansing shower of the Word, it showed them who they were in God and reminded them that they were not defined by their weaknesses but by what Christ had done at the cross of Calvary.
By this knowledge, study the Word as a cleanser. As you read it, declare it over your life. That is akin to the experience of a man who stands under a shower and allows the water to run over him. As you speak the Word, its cleansing effects will start to reflect through your life.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Study the Word as a cleanser. As you read it, declare it over your life. That is akin to the experience of a man who stands under a shower and allows the water to run over him. As you speak the Word, its cleansing effects will start to reflect through your life.
PRAYER: My Lord, I thank You for the precious gift of Your Word. It is my anchor, my strength and my shield. I know what it can do and what it is changing about my life. I yield myself to it more with every passing day. I declare it more with every passing hour. It consumes every aspect of my life until I am indeed a Word being. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
