John 14: 26 (NKJV); But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
THE HELPER
The Holy Spirit is our Helper.
However, when some people think of Him as the helper, they consider this helping in the context of husband and wife.
The wife is a submitted helper to her husband. He is the leader of the household and her role is to help him in his vision for their family.
That is not similar to the relationship we have with the Holy Spirit. He is not a submitted helper. He is a leading Helper.
Because some have not understood the nature of this relationship, they have abused the person of the Holy Spirit. They will minister in ways He does not want them to minister and will demonstrate divine power in ways that grieve Him.
We were made to follow the Spirit, not to lead Him and expect Him to help us where we lead Him.
Any liberties in God that we explore must be within the confines of the relationship with the Holy Spirit as a leading Helper and not a following helper.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I am grateful for the priceless gift of Your Spirit. I submit to Him in all my ways and all my dealings. I acknowledge with my soul and my spirit that He is the leader and I am the follower. Where He goes, I go, where He stands still, I stand still. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
