Hebrews 1:13-14 (KJV); But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
ANGELS IN SERVICE
As a believer in Christ, you are superior to the angels. He has set you above them. Like our theme scripture reveals, angels minister for you. They are servants of the heirs of salvation, who are the children of God.
The scriptures are full of instances of angels at the service of the saints. In Genesis 24:7 when Abraham tasked his servant to find a wife for his son, he said, “The Lord God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.”
There is an angelic ministry to wives. In 1 Corinthians 11:10, the Bible says, “For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.” There is even an angelic ministry to children. In Matthew 18:10, Jesus said, “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.”
In Psalm 103:20, the scriptures also say, “Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” When you speak the Word of God, the angels hearken. How do they respond? Psalm 103:21 says that they do your pleasure.
How aware are you that there are angels available for your service? God has ordained them to make your life easier, in your business, career, ministry or family life.

GOLDEN NUGGET: As a believer in Christ, you are superior to the angels. Angels minister for you. They are servants of the heirs of salvation, who are the children of God.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You because angels respond to the command of my lips. They are available to my family, in my career and in my ministry. I grow in awareness of this reality and enjoy the fullness of their ministry to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
