DEFINING MILESTONES

Milestones are key spiritual moments in our lives as children of God. They define our part and lot in the gospel, our contribution to divine purpose and our direction in the assignment that God has for our individual lives.

One of the primary ways in which milestones are defined is through our associations.

Never underestimate the power of the people that God brings into your life. Some may be in it for a time, others may be in it for the rest of your days.

It takes wisdom and maturity to identify those individuals who come into our lives as milestones.

It was wisdom for Elisha to recognise that Elijah was not a random man passing by, who had the gall to cast his mantle on a stranger. If Elisha had missed this critical fact, he would not be the great prophet we know today.

The reason why some people have veered off the course of divine purpose is that when God brought certain important individuals into their lives, they were too indifferent to understand that by the hand of those men or women, God sought to elevate them.

The Lord is calling us to this consciousness, to understand that certain people are not in our lives by mistake and to provoke us to seek His mind on why those individuals are in our lives at those particular times.

GOLDEN NUGGET: One of the primary ways in which milestones are defined is through our associations. Never underestimate the power of the people that God brings into your life.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the doors of greatness before me and the people You have placed in my life to lead me through them. I have the discernment to understand the reason why some people are in my life. By this wisdom, I am always tuned to spiritual time and events. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
