Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 26:41 (KJV); Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
WATCH AND PRAY
Prayer is not complete if it is not accompanied with watching. While many have mastered how to pray, few understand watching in prayer.
You cannot effectively light an altar at a church, family or national level when you do not know how to watch.
Families, churches and nations are guarded, not by people who only know how to pray, but those that know how to watch and pray.
What then is watching in prayer?
To watch in prayer is to be spiritually conscious, attentive and alert while you pray.
To a watcher, prayer is not a passive monologue with God. But rather, in prayer, he or she is connected to the Spirit enough to know what God is saying.
Spiritual battles are won by those that know how to watch because they are alive to what is happening in the spiritual realm.
It is not enough to be a prayer warrior. You must open your spirit to the consciousness of what God wants to say and show you while you are in His presence.

GOLDEN NUGGET: To watch in prayer is to be spiritually conscious, attentive and alert while you pray. To a watcher, prayer is not a passive monologue with God. But rather, in prayer, he or she is connected to the Spirit enough to know what God is saying.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I am awakened to this wisdom in prayer. My spirit rises to the responsibility of watching. My heart is alert to Your voice and instructions in prayer. In this knowledge, I live as the prudent who sees evil from afar and averts it. I see the things to come before they happen. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
