UNDERSTANDING YOUR CALLING III

As a believer in Christ who desires to understand the call of God upon his life, you must take time to study your life.

There is a reason why you were born in that particular nation, in that particular district, and by that particular set of parents. God was deliberate about the circumstances of your birth, whether they may be regrettable to you or not.

Paul, as an example, was a Jew but raised in Tarsus Cilicia as a Roman citizen. There is a reason for this because he had a calling to carry the gospel of grace to the Gentiles.

Moses is another example from the scriptures. The Bible says that he was educated in all the wisdom of Egypt yet he was a Hebrew by birth. This was tagged to his eventual assignment of leading the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Your education, your relatives, and your neighborhood are not by mistake. He says that all things work together for good for those who are CALLED according to His plan (Romans 8:28).

God is in it and there is a definite purpose to all the things that you have been through and have experienced. The life of one called by God is not lived by accident, it is crafted by a divine design.

Take time and think about your life and your journey thus far. In these meditations and self-evaluation, you will understand that there are deliberate dots that link you to your God-ordained destiny.

FURTHER STUDY: Acts 7:22-36, Acts 17:24-28

GOLDEN NUGGET: The life of one called by God is not lived by accident, it is crafted by a divine design. God is in it and there is a definite purpose to all the things that you have been through and have experienced.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I know that Your hand is upon my life. You guide my every step. Nothing is by mistake. I rejoice in every aspect of my life knowing that all things work together for good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
