Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 12:43-45 (KJV); When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
FULL VESSELS II
The devil cannot stand a vessel that is full.
In our theme scripture, Christ gives us an understanding of how demons work. The most notable thing is that they crave empty spaces. The question is, empty of what?
The enemy craves spaces that are empty of the Word. A man may be full of worldly ideas but empty of the Word. He may be full of dogma but empty of the Word. He may be full of doctrines of men but be empty of the Word.
You must be deliberate about constantly having the Word of truth in your spirit because you cannot afford to be a playground for the enemy.
So, ask yourself, how often do you listen to the Word? How much time do you spend in the Bible?
When you are full, you can withstand all forms of infirmity; when you are full, you can rise above all storms; when you are full, no fire can burn too hot for you.
Be deliberate about filling yourself with the Word. The Bible says that the Word should dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16).
FURTHER STUDY: John 15:7, Romans 10:17
GOLDEN NUGGET: The devil cannot stand a vessel that is full. When you are full, you can withstand all forms of infirmity; when you are full, you can rise above all storms; when you are full, no fire can burn too hot for you.
PRAYER: My Father I thank You for this day. I thank You because I am begotten by the Word of truth. It is in my blood, my mind, my soul and my spirit. I am full to the brim and I am overflowing with it. The devil has nothing in me because there is no room for anything in me but Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
