SPEAK BACK
The devil has a way of planting thoughts, suggestions and ideas in the minds of Christians. It is his way of trying to drag you into a conversation.
So, it should not come as a surprise that the enemy will try to talk to you.
Christ, in our theme scripture teaches us what we should do. Never be shy to speak back with the Word.
Some people shake their heads vigorously in an attempt to deny any of those thoughts and imagine that this is enough. Be bold, speak back like Christ did.
When the enemy suggests that the pain in your body might be the symptom of cancer, tell him that By Christ’s stripes you were healed. When he attempts to make you think that you are poor simply because your bank account has dipped, tell him that you work by a heavenly economy and that Christ became poor so that you may be rich.
Sometimes, the spiritual realm does not favour silence as a form of warfare. That is why the Word of God is part of the armour of God. It is the sword of the spirit. We wield it through speech.
