Matthew 5:14-15 (KJV); Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
LIT TO SHINE
The grace to shine is twofold. The first is that which puts a luminosity upon your life, causing you to shine. The second is that which causes those that look at you to see that luminosity and brightness.
It is one thing to be all the things that the Word of God has said that you are. It is another for those around you to look at you and testify that indeed, you are these things.
What is a star to a blind man?
God did not intend to make you bright and shiny without that brightness being visible to those around you. After all, kings can only come to a light that they see. He has not designed you with so much potential that never gets an outlet.
It is not godly for a man to be very capable and competent yet shrouded in a cloak of invisibility, shut away from those who can give his craft a stage for the world to see.
In 1 Timothy 4:15, He teaches the secret of how other men’s eyes can be opened to the greatness upon your life. He says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that THY PROFITING MAY APPEAR TO ALL.”
The knowledge of God radiating from your Spirit causes those around you to take notice. As you give yourself more and more to His Word, you emit the kind of light that not only causes you to shine but drops the scales off people’s eyes causing them to see you for who you are in God.

PRAYER: My Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. I know that you did not light me to hide me or for me to be overshadowed by anything else. Kings come to my rising. I attract greatness. I shine with a radiance that causes the world to take notice. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
