Matthew 11:11(KJV); Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

A GREATER TESTIMONY

John the Baptist was a great man. Among those born of women, the Bible says that there was none greater than him.

The great news is that he that is least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than John the Baptist.

This means that anyone under the New Covenant has a greater testimony.

For example, look at how John the Baptist died. He died at the whim of a young girl. His head was someone’s reward for good dancing (Matthew 14:3-12).

Because you are much greater, never expect your life to end at the whim of another man.

No one can kill you for pleasure!

This extends to other strange deaths. There are men who go to be fit and healthy only to die in their sleep. There are others who are the victims of senseless accidents. Others suffer senseless attacks that end their lives needlessly.

That is not your story.

You are of a greater testimony. Your life is not child’s play. It is not something that can be taken at the snap of someone’s finger.

The men of this world live uncertain lives with death at their doors every other moment.

Your portion is different! You are called to live a full life; your life is in God’s hands; you will never be at the mercy of another man; you must finish your course; no one can abort your destiny; only God determines your end.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 14:19, Psalm 91:16

GOLDEN NUGGET: You are called to live a full life; your life is in God’s hands; you will never be at the mercy of another man; you must finish your course; no one can abort your destiny; only God determines your end.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. My life is in Your hands. I thank You because the wicked and unreasonable are far from me. No man has power over my life except You alone. This is the boldness with which I live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
