Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Samuel 1:21(KJV); Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
THE ANOINTING VII
The anointing upon your life determines how you live and how you die. It preserves and keeps you in the paths that God has ordained for you to walk.
Sadly, not all anointed men end well. Saul is an example. Because he abused the principles that preserve men in the anointing, his end was brutal and disgraceful.
He died like a man who had not been anointed with oil.
This means that there is a way anointed men live and a way anointed men die. The anointing is strong in life and strong in death.
In this regard, Christ set a pattern for us. His life was punctuated by power and His death was a statement of power.
Even on the cross where it seemed like the enemy had won, Christ was bringing many sons to glory. Even in death, He was the victor.
The essence of the anointing is to ensure that there is no dent in your testimony. Your life must be an example to the world of what God can do in a man.
In Job 33:4, the Bible says, “The Spirit of the Lord has made me.”
At the end of your life, people should not moan your potential but should celebrate what you became in God because His Spirit made you.

GOLDEN NUGGET: The essence of the anointing is to ensure that there is no dent in your testimony. Your life must be an example to the world of what God can do in a man.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. You are the author and finisher of my life, the alpha and omega of my destiny. I do not run my race alone but with the aid of Your Spirit who keeps me on the right path, all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
