Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Kings 13:20-21(KJV); And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year. And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
THE ANOINTING III
I once preached a sermon in which I imparted the grace to demonstrate the power of God upon the listeners.
Years later, someone who had not been in the congregation at the time listened to the same sermon, claimed the grace, received it for himself and started to demonstrate the power of the Spirit.
He received an impartation from a sermon preached years ago.
How so?
It is because the anointing is timeless.
As revealed to us in our theme scripture, if something or someone is truly anointed, the anointing does not cease to function after a day, a year or twenty years. Elisha had been dead for a year but his bones still held the anointing that could raise a dead man to life.
You can connect to a message preached ten years ago and receive an impartation from it. You can connect to a grace released thirty years ago if you open your spirit to what God can do.
Never limit your ability to receive from God to only what was shared last Sunday. God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is alive even in ‘dry bones’.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 13:8, John 3:34
GOLDEN NUGGET: The anointing is timeless. You can connect to a message preached ten years ago and receive an impartation from it. You can connect to a grace released thirty years ago if you open your spirit to what God can do.
PRAYER: My Lord, I thank You for this knowledge. This wisdom is at work in my life. I am not limited in how I receive from You. I receive impartation even from ‘dry bones’ to the glory of Your name, Amen.
