Luke 18:1-7(KJV); And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
PRAYING THROUGH
The essence of the parable of the unjust judge is that men ought to always pray and not faint.
Some people have equated God to this unjust judge and assumed that they have to pester Him relentlessly for an answer.
That is not the moral of the story.
The instruction of the Lord through this scripture is the discipline of PRAYING THROUGH.
Praying through is different from praying about something. When you pray about something, you may take it to God in prayer and then rest and wait on Him to bring it to pass. Praying through is a relentless attitude of the man or woman who is determined to have an answer from heaven at every cost.
Praying through is when zeal meets faith, that a man will close himself in his room and pray until what they pursue manifests regardless of whether it takes three hours, eight hours or twenty four hours.
When we pray through, we seek confirmation of manifestation from heaven. This confirmation may come in a number of ways: through an overwhelming sense of peace, a deep sense of joy, a certainty in your spirit that what you desire is done or a clear instruction of what you ought to do next.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this instruction. I receive it, embrace it and run with it. My life is a fireplace and on its altar, I see answers, solutions and breakthroughs. The wisdom of praying through is at work in me, to push me through the impossible, to vault high fences, break barriers and to quantum leap into my destiny. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
