Apostle Grace Lubega
Hebrews 11:6(KJV); But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
In drawing us to the secret place, God does that on an individual basis. He does not call you together with your family, together with your prayer friends, together with your pastor or together with your fellow church members. It is you alone.
This pattern is clear throughout the Bible. In our theme scripture, He says, “HE that cometh to God must believe that He is.” The language is not “THEM that come to God.” The invitation is personal.
Even when the high priest had to make atonement for the sins of the children of Israel, he went to the Holy of Holies alone(Hebrews 9:7). He did not have a fellow priest accompanying him.
In Revelation 3:20, Jesus Christ stands at the door of an entire church but His invitation is personal. He says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if ANY MAN hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to HIM, and will sup with HIM, and HE with me.” That is the order of God.
You will not have true communion if you still have an attachment to the crowd or define intimacy with God by how big your prayer group is.
God wants to deal with you on an individual basis. This is why you must value solitude where you allow yourself to simply be alone with your God. Cultivate a life of communion based on a personal relationship where your faith is a personal faith, your understanding is a personal understanding and your revelation of Christ is a personal revelation.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: You will not have true communion if you still have an attachment to the crowd or define intimacy with God by how big your prayer group is. God wants to deal with you on an individual basis.
PRAYER: My Lord, Your Word is true. You are the beginning and the end of my life and the God of my destiny. I live a life of intimate relationship, knowing whose I am. It is out of the abundance of communion that I live my days, that I serve, that I build relationships and that I give.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
